My First Media Lesson
In my first media lesson i learnt how to set up and assemble a tripod thanks to a tutorial from the teacher. We were put into groups of four and each of us had to set up and assemble the tripod, we all managed to complete the task successfully. We were also shown how to use the tripod for low angle and high angle shots, we also learnt that if you touch the camera when it is inserted onto the tripod, you get camera shake, i never knew that and i found it very interesting and will remember in the future. After we set up and assembled the tripod we had to dismantle it and i found that quite simple, along with other members in the group i set up and dismantled it quick and easy. Afterwards each group were given a digital video camera, we learnt how to turn it on/off and where the battery was and how to charge it, each group went over to the English store room where sockets were available and we put the digital video cameras on charge, ready for our next lesson.
